Speech-Language Pathologist
After working over 10 years as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, I have enjoyed my time at CCT because it’s allowed me to work with children of various ages and disabilities. It’s given me the opportunity to help kids communicate their needs and wants through alternative means. And it’s provided me the chance to work with other disciplines (OT/PT), allowing me to incorporate sensory and physical modalities into a speech-language therapy session.
I’ve received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Disorders. I am licensed in Iowa and California and have primarily provided diagnostic and therapeutic services to preschool through high school aged individuals with a wide range of speech and language impairments. I’ve worked in a variety of settings and have had extensive experience in schools, collaborating with teachers, psychologists and caregivers to provide the most effective, functional and successful outcome for each child.
When I’m not working, I enjoy taking strolls at the park with my husband and daughter. I also enjoy watching the Food Network and trying new recipes, as well as venturing out and sampling a variety of cuisines.
