Speech Language Pathologist
I started working as a CCT Speech-Language Pathologist in August of 2009. (I can’t believe it’s already been 2 years!) I enjoy the Children’s Center staff and its family-centered atmosphere. I also love that it offers Manantial, a support group specifically for Hispanic parents of children with special needs. Families feel comfortable here- not always an easy trait to find in a health care setting.
I’m originally from Washington, IA. After going to school at UNI and double majoring in Spanish and Communication Sciences and Disorders, I went on to complete my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have one younger sister and one younger brother- both going to school at UNI, following in their older sister’s footsteps, and I enjoy biking, reading (when I have time!), spending time with family and friends, and eating at locally-owned restaurants!

Positive Purple “Share” Care Bear – Because she is fluffy and carries a purse with lollipops to make people HAPPY!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Body Builder and Zumba instructor that’s a food critic on the side.

Watching Grease over and over with friends and singing to ALL the songs
