Since starting at the Children’s Center in September of 2009, I’ve enjoyed its caring families, my lively coworkers, and the delicious food (our weekly staff meals cooked by Dayrin Lovan- CCT’s Parent Advocate Volunteer)! I’m truly inspired by the Center’s energetic staff and passion for what they do.
Originally from Ames, Iowa, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Iowa State University. I then went on to graduate from Kirkwood and worked for some time as a Paralegal in Iowa City. My husband, Bruce, and I have 2 sons (Ross and Ryan) and a 3-legged dog named Scooby.
