I have always had a passion for children. Even as far back as my freshman year of high school I dreamed of a career that would allow me to commit my life and education to helping children with special needs. This desire propelled me to pursue my Undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy, and I graduated from Western Michigan University with both in 2010.

I like working at the Children’s Center because of the fantastic staff and the incredible kids and families I get to see every week. I love that- through providing OT services- I can have an impact on so many areas of each child’s life.

Helping a child live his life to its fullest is one of my greatest passions. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to fulfill that passion at the Children’s Center, and I truly love the work that I get to do as a CCT occupational therapist!

Originally from North Dakota, I actually spent most of my growing up years in Fort Dodge, IA. Inspired by my mother, I decided to enter the therapy world. I’ve been working at the Children’s Center since 2008 and I’ve loved helping kids to reach their full potential.

I have been working at CCT for the past 5 years as both an Occupational and Physical Therapist. I initially entered the therapy field to help others become as independent as possible, and since I have always loved working with kids, CCT’s been the perfect place for me.
