Administration Team

After becoming a mom my perspective on life completely changed. Never more would I be concerned about my job performance at work, or the many other priorities I had, than I would be for the health and happiness of my child.

I have the privilege of working on the Children’s Center for Therapy’s administrative team. I have the utmost respect for the entire CCT staff and am motivated by their passion for the children that walk through our doors.

Originally from North Dakota, I actually spent most of my growing up years in Fort Dodge, IA. Inspired by my mother, I decided to enter the therapy world. I’ve been working at the Children’s Center since 2008 and I’ve loved helping kids to reach their full potential.

Since starting at the Children’s Center in September of 2009, I’ve enjoyed its caring families, my lively coworkers, and the delicious food (our weekly staff meals cooked by Dayrin Lovan- CCT’s Parent Advocate Volunteer)!

I started working at the Children’s Center in the fall of 2009. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a BA in Social Work, I spent close to a year in Morocco, helping out at a therapy clinic for handicapped children living in poverty.
