Occupational Therapist

I have always had a passion for children. Even as far back as my freshman year of high school I dreamed of a career that would allow me to commit my life and education to helping children with special needs. This desire propelled me to pursue my Undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy, and I graduated from Western Michigan University with both in 2010.

I moved to Iowa in the spring of 2011 to begin working with the Children’s Center family! I love my work as a CCT occupational therapist because of the creativity that I get to put into each therapy session. The Center’s mission, the children that it sees, and its caring and enthusiastic environment make work fun and so worthwhile! I can definitely say that Iowa has come to hold a special place in my heart- all thanks to CCT, its staff and patients, and, of course, the world renowned sweet corn!
