Speech-Language Pathologist
I love my work as a Children’s Center speech-language pathologist because children never fail to keep my life exciting! After working with adults throughout college, training, and at a previous job, I knew that my calling was a career that involved kids. Since starting at the Children’s Center in November of 2010, my passion for what I do each day has only gotten stronger.
I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Iowa, and I currently live in Iowa City with my husband and our “child,” a dog named Charlie! I have a special interest in children with language delays, but also enjoy the wide variety of kids I get to see at the Children’s Center. I enjoy determining what needs to be done to help each child, and the ability to bring a smile to their face is my daily motivation!
