Speech – Language Pathologist

I love working as a pediatric speech pathologist because no career could ever be as fun or spontaneous as one that works with kids! I have worked at the Children’s Center since April of 2011, and my areas of special interest include articulation remediation and language intervention.

In addition to my MA in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Iowa, I also have a degree in Studio Art. Art and craft projects can be designed to address treatment goals so that children can improve their speech and language skills while being creative and having fun. I truly enjoy finding out what motivates my clients in order to incorporate those elements into the most beneficial therapy for each individual child.
